Description
Natura 2000 sites are identified in accordance with European legislation on the conservation of biodiversity. Special Areas of Conservation (SACs) and Sites of Community Importance (SCIs) are identified in accordance with Directive 92/43/EEC 'HABITAT' of 21 May 1992 on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora; Special Protection Areas (SPAs) are established in accordance with the Birds Directive 2009/147/EC (ex 79/409/EEC) on the conservation of all species of naturally occurring birds in the wild in the European territory. Information is available regarding the reasons for setting up the site (standard form), management tools (conservation measures, management plans), official cartography and the link to the descriptive sheets.A WFS service (vers 2.0) of Complex Feature type is made available. To use this type of service it is recommended to use - for example - the QGIS plugin 'WFS 2.0 Client'.
