Description

The hydraulic work built along a water course with the aim of regulating the flow downstream and the level upstream or to create an artificial reservoir or lake to store water, for use for irrigation purposes, or for the production of electricity.It belongs to the theme "Hydraulic works, defense and hydraulic regulation" of the BDTRE (Territorial Database of Reference of the Bodies) which describes the hydraulic works that have a function of defense from water and the hydraulic regulation artifacts.
