Description
Hydrogeology — Piezometry of the surface aquifer 1:100,000.In the period June-July 2002, a piezometric campaign was carried out throughout the territory of the Piedmont plain. Piezometric measures were carried out on 315 points of water related to the surface aquifer. These are mostly farm wells, which are still currently used for domestic or irrigation use. In some cases, measurements were also carried out in piezometers and wells for industrial use. At these points of water, the substantness of the surface aquifer, i.e. its distance from its piezometric surface compared to the campaign plan, has been measured.The characteristics of the water points measured during the piezometric marketing year have been included in the appropriate sheets set out in the Annex; in particular, the technical characteristics of the water point (quota from the campaign plan, diameter, intended use), location data (coordinated, Province, Municipality, address and owner) and relative subjection were described. The diagram of the well section, the photo, the plan diagram of the position of the well and the extract of the CTR for a quick detection were also inserted on the card.
