Urban Waste Collection by Fraction Pro Capite – Indicator
Description
The service presents in the form of an indicator the data relating to the annual data on Urban Waste Collection per Frazione Pro Capite in the Piedmont Region.The data on fractions have been made available.The data have been made available in historical series since 2006 and are updated annually; the temporal scope is the annual one and the data is originally collected on common. The indicators shall be made available and aggregated on the following spatial resolutions: Municipal, Provincial/Metropolitan City of Turin, Urban Waste Management Consortium, Regional.Under a special function dedicated to ‘Indicators’ in the Environmental Knowledge System, it is possible to visualise the indicators on municipal waste production thematic according to three different types of statistical classification (Jenks, Equal Interval, Quantile), with the possibility of modifying the number of thematic classes, the values of the individual classes and the colors of the thematicisations. The WFS service can also be used in any GIS desktop (e.g. QGIS), however, using it with filters to obtain an indicator suitable for the theme of the ‘represented value’ for only one dimension (e.g. Total compost), a single spatial resolution (e.g. Municipal) and only one periodicity and temporal scope (e.g. Annual – 2019).
