BDTRE - Network Summit (V_RETE)
Description
The "network summit" is a point of the national geodesic network, realized by the IGM by triangulation and trilateration. These points are divided into different orders and uniformly distributed over the territory with an average interdistance of about 5 km.It belongs to the theme "Geodetic Information" of the BDTRE (Territorial Data Base of Reference of the Bodies) which brings together information of a geodetic nature (planimetric networks, altimetric networks), both belonging to national networks and belonging to local equipment. This information is entered in the DB at the time of establishment/implementation, and retains its name/code in subsequent uses.
