Description
The dataset is a series of elaborations of the Sentinel Piemonte Project obtained from the processing of images of the satellite Sentinel2 of the Copernicus project. The project involves the production of derived images, with specific automatic procedures, starting from the data available in the Sentinel archives on the regional territory. The process concerns historical data and is constantly updated on the latest available images.The works produce images to support the use of spectral indices and additive synthesis. These images contain information descriptive of the processing process, such as the acquisition date selected for the calculation of spectral indices, the value of the image with SCL suffix (scene classification map) relative to the selected acquisition date and the analysis of occurrences of good acquisitions or bad acquisitions (for shadow clouds or sensor saturation) or null acquisitions always on a monthly basis.In the DATA CAMPIONMENT (MASK), the image shows the acquisition date selected based on the maximum NDVI value on a monthly basis expressed in the Day Of the Year (DOY) form for each individual pixel. The DOY is a value between 1-366 indicating the day for the reference year.
