BDTRE - Wet waterway area (AB_CDA)
Description
The class describes the area, part of an engraved riverbed, with the presence of water, detected at the time of photorestitution.It belongs to the theme "Internal and transitional waters" of the BDTRE (Territorial Reference Data Base of the Bodies) which refers to the classification and structuring of the surface occupied by inland or transitional waters. A distinction is made between running waters and still waters; running waters may be of natural (rivers or streams) or artificial (channels) streams, while still waters may be of lakes, ponds or swamps, etc. The surface of permanent islands must be excluded from the surface of the wet area containing them.
