BDN – Distribution of fauna species on grid 5 km
Description
Wildlife Archive of Naturalistic Data Banks of the Piedmont Region, consisting of field observations, bibliography and collection data; the data can be viewed in aggregate form in a square mesh grid (5 km side) and refer only to public observations, validated and non-conservative species. The visualisation guarantees maximum dissemination of data and at the same time protects the prerogatives of ownership and sensitivity, in accordance with the provisions of the “Deontology and rules for the use and access to Regional Naturalistic Databases” (D.G.R. n. 23-12615 of 31-05-2004), which defines and regulates relations with suppliers and users of naturalistic data outside the Regional Administration. Access to the dataset is via a Complex Feature WFS (vers 2.0) service.
