Description
It represents the lines of sudden change of the slope, they are therefore characteristic of the orography of the territory. This class includes both artificial and natural escarpments, due to movements of a geological nature (eg landslide niche, etc...) that do not.It belongs to the theme "Forms of the soil" of the BDTRE (Territorial Data Base of Reference of the Bodies) which describes the entities that define the morphological trend of the ground and that often have a function of symbolic dressing auxiliary to reading and orientation in the cartographic representation.
