Matrix OD2030 - Commercial and heavy vehicles (compressed file for quick download)
Description
Estimated matrix of movements of commercial and heavy vehicles of interest for the territory of the Lombardy region (2030).
The matrix refers to an average working day and considers 526 areas (437 areas within the region - the result of amalgamations of municipalities and/or, for larger municipalities, parts of municipalities). 69 outside Lombardy and 20 “intermodal gates” - 8 intermodal road-rail terminals inside Lombardy; 3 external intermodal terminals; 4 cargo airports; 3 seaports in the Ligurian system; 2 water ports). The data on vehicle movements are broken down by reference to categories N1, N2 and N3 as defined in Article 47 of the Highway Code:
- N1: vehicles intended for the carriage of goods, having a maximum mass not exceeding 3,5 tonnes;
- N2: vehicles intended for the carriage of goods, having a maximum mass exceeding 3,5 tonnes but not exceeding 12 tonnes;
- N3: vehicles intended for the carriage of goods, having a maximum mass exceeding 12 tonnes.
