Description

The service consists of 3 parts: — Treatment plants (point) – ATO (polygonal) boundaries – agglomerations (polygonal). The “treatment plants” report the localisation of urban waste water treatment plants (purifiers, imhoff pits, etc....) existing and operating in the Lombardy Region.;Interrogating the thematics are displayed:;the identifier of the ATO in which the plant falls,; code and name of the plant, code and name of the agglomeration served (where present), location coordinates of the plant, the data derive from the regional database SIRe Acque, fed by the managing bodies of the ATOs (Ottimal Territorial Areas).The “ATO borders” report the perimeter of the 12 ATOs (Ottimal Territorial Areas) existing in the Lombardy Region. Questioning this thematicism displays the name and identification code of the ATO. The Optimal Territorial Area is the territory on which the Integrated Water Service (SII) is organised. The ATOs were identified on the basis of Lr 26 of 2003 "Discipline of services of general economic interest. Rules on waste management, energy, subsoil use and water resources.’ The “Agglomerations” refer to the areas of the agglomerations identified by the management bodies of the Lombardy ATOs.;The agglomeration is defined as “the area where the population and/or economic activities are sufficiently concentrated to make it possible to collect and channel urban waste water to an urban waste water treatment plant or to a final discharge point” (ex Directive 91/271/EEC of 21 May 1991, Article 2 of Legislative Decree No 152/2006, Article 74). Attached is the “Lombardia_AG-DP” link table; urban waste water treatment plant code (ID_DP) and serviced agglomerations (ID_AG).
