The service contains the data that, starting from the census of the disused areas mapped in 2008/2010, have been updated and processed to become today “regeneration areas”, pursuant to L.r. 31/2014 for the reduction of land consumption and for the redevelopment of degraded soil.The “regeneration areas” include disused industrial areas, degraded areas and unused buildings and the information associated with them is constantly evolving, as they derive from a mapping work that municipalities, supported by the Provinces and Metropolitan Cities and ARPA Lombardia, are carrying out with continuity from 2018, through a dedicated geographic editing service, available on the collaborative platform Multiplan. This information is also a working basis for the land consumption paper to be produced by municipalities pursuant to Law No 31/2014.For each of the areas identified, various information is generally available, collected in thematic groups: more general cadastral and personal data, planning data (Government of the territory), environmental criticalities, characteristics of the area to be regenerated or of the unused building.As regards the territory of Milan, it is ongoing the integration of the similar service provided by the City of Milan, relating to unused and degraded buildings that cause danger to safety or to public health and safety or discomfort for decorum and urban quality; their identification is closely linked to the contents of Article 11 of the Rules of Implementation of the Plan of Rules of the PGT of Milan.
