Description
The database contains active quarries and quarries that are cartographically represented by a polygon. The following types are also distinguished: scope of the current authorisation; area where the extraction has been completed but not recovered; territorial mining area; groundwater extraction area; area recovered; area recovered in pond. Currently there are about 4000 elements (600 active quarries and 3400 quarries ceased). The data comes from the authorisations issued by the Provinces.
