Map retail trade in Lombardy
Description
List of authorized points of sale of Neighborhood Exercises, Large and Medium Sales Structures at the latest annual survey available. The data is provided directly by the individual municipalities (SUAP/Mountain Communities/Unions of Municipalities), using the ‘Trade Observatory’ application on the MUTA platform. Information on the location of large structures is of high quality, while for medium-sized structures and neighbourhood exercises it is allocated in bulk using automated procedures: the information may not be qualitatively accurate. Esercizi di Vicinato is supplementary and not a substitute for the overall figure per municipality (available in other datasets): therefore, if present, the personal details of the individual points of sale of neighbourhood businesses may have been communicated in part (in some cases, the sales areas were not indicated as they were not available from the municipalities).
