Reserved areas for mushrooms and truffles
Description
The map service displays the ‘Reserved collection areas for mushrooms and truffles’, in which the following are represented: the areas in which the collection of mushrooms is subject to the payment of a permit, pursuant to Articles 97 and 99 of Regional Law No 31/2008 (Consolidated Text of Regional Laws on Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries and Rural Development), the areas in which the collection of truffles is reserved for operators expressly authorised by a regional measure or subjects delegated by the operator itself. These areas, called ‘tartufaie’, which are controlled or cultivated, are delimited by special tables, in accordance with Article 124 of Regional Law No 31/2008. In both cases, the collection of mushrooms and truffles by non-certified persons is subject to administrative fines. In the case of ‘tartufaie’, the law also penalises the mere search for truffles carried out by non-titled persons.
