COVID-19 clinical status matrix sent to ISS - last submission

Description

Below are published the data sent from 2021, weekly, every Wednesday, from the Lombardy Region to ISS, aggregating for all symptom start dates the count of SARS-CoV-2 positive cases for each of the clinical states or combination of them possible. Note: the data sent to the Istituto Superiore di Sanità contain information of various kinds that are produced by flows received from healthcare companies in Lombardy and specifically, for the calculation of the estimate of R(t), the system that manages the reports of suspected cases for infectious diseases is used. It should be noted that the published datasets may contain internal consistency errors due to inaccuracies in the data entry of some dates by healthcare professionals, who are affected by a vast and articulated data collection process. It should be noted, however, that for the purposes of estimating the transmissibility of symptomatic cases with the R(t) index, these data do not contribute to the relative calculation as the sum of the renewal equation is limited to 300 days from today (ISS source: https://www.epicentro.iss.it/coronavirus/open-data/calcolo_rt_italia.zip).
