Map of Localisation Probable of the Valanghe (CLPV)
Description
The Probable Location Charter of the Valanghe (CLPV) contains the perimeters of the areas potentially affected by avalanche phenomena. It is a thematic paper that shows the avalanche sites both detected directly, on the basis of eye and/or archival testimonies, and acquired indirectly by photo interpretation. The entire provinces are: Bergamo, Como, Sondrio, Brescia. Partly: Lecco. In addition, the ski lifts and the avalanche defense works have also been matographed. During 2022 the survey is planned with consequent updating of the Provinces of Lecco (10 Municipalities), Varese (43 Municipalities) and Pavia (4 Municipalities). The map service contains a further level called “Plan of Exposed Zones in Valanga” which shows the detail zoning of the hazard within the areas exposed to the avalanche hazard obtained through studies drawn up by the municipalities in accordance with Annex 3 to Legislative Decree 2616/2011 as part of the updates of the geological component of the PGTs. Further available detailed zoning will be published in 2022.
