Priority areas at risk Radon – WMS
Description
The map service displays the “priority areas at radon risk” of the Lombard municipalities pursuant to Article 11(3) of Legislative Decree No 101 of 31 July 2020, as amended by Regional Executive Decision No XII/508 of 26 June/2023 and published in OJ General Series No 211 of 09-09-2023. Areas where the estimated proportion of buildings exceeding 300 Bq/m³ is equal to or above 15 % shall be classified as a priority area. The percentage of buildings is determined by surveys or radon measures carried out or reported or normalised on the ground floor.The purpose of their identification is to define the priorities for intervention in the management strategies of radon problem, both in terms of measurement and implementation of preventive measures aimed at protecting the population from the risk of exposure to radon gas in closed environments pursuant to Legislative Decree 101/2020 and LR 3/2022.The detailed information can be consulted at the following links:·;Delibera No 508 (region.lombardia.it);·;OJ General Series N°211 of 09-09-2023)·;Radon Risk Priority Areas – ARPA Lombardia
