Description
Census of the works of soil defense carried out in the Lombardy Region. The works are represented with polygonal, linear or punctual geometry and are divided into the following categories: Monitoring/Inquiry, Rock Defense Work, Avalanche Defense Work, Drainage Work, Support Work, Surface Stabilisation Work, Hydraulic Work, Special Opera. For each work, the type (e.g. embankment, paramass barrier, briglia, etc.), material (steel, concrete, timber, stone, etc.), the location, the Law/Financing Program and the type of intervention (enlargement/adjustment, construction, demolition, maintenance, etc.) are shown for each work. As of 23 May 2022, the database contains 5900 polygonal works, 41,148 linear works and 13,963 punctual works.A service is available — ODSM: System of Soil Defense Works — Reporting and Monitoring — which supports the process of collecting reports related to the need for soil defense interventions, the verification of the reports themselves and the monitoring of the funded works.
