Regional Water Budget – WMS

Description

Regione Lombardia approved Regional Water Budget with DGR No XI/2122 of 9.9.2019 and subsequent DGR No XI/2583 of 2 December 2019. The water balance is the scientific basis on which to build actions to pursue the objectives of quality and quantity and, more generally, all land development policies that affect the environment and the use of water resources. The result of the elaboration of the Regional Water Budget is here in summary represented by the relative shape files that express the anthropised and naturalised range in closing to natural water bodies, in terms of cubic meters/s. The anthropised flow rate is the value of flow under the current conditions of use of the water resource; the naturalised flow rate represents the estimated natural flow value from a given measured, purified from anthropogenic effects (e.g. withdrawals). The use of a modelling approach allowed to estimate the reference flows first anthropised then naturalised, closing to the water bodies of the main Lombard tributaries of Po and their first tributary. Through the regionalisation procedure ex PTUA 2006, applied to the hydrological component of the reference flow rates, it was possible to determine the regionalised flow rates, first naturalised and then anthropised, for the remaining water bodies.
