Areas of Regeneration – WMS
Description
The service contains data that, starting from the census of discarded areas mapped in 2008/2010, have been updated and processed to become today “areas of regeneration”, pursuant to Law No 31/2014 for the reduction of land use and for the redevelopment of degraded soil.The “areas of regeneration” include abandoned industrial areas, degraded areas and unused buildings and the information associated with them is constantly evolving. as they result from a mapping work that the Municipalities, supported by the Provinces and Metropolitan Cities and ARPA Lombardia, are continuously carrying out from 2018, through a dedicated geographic editing service, available on the Multiplan collaborative platform.This information also represents a working basis for the land consumption paper to be produced by municipalities pursuant to Law No 31/2014.For each of the areas identified, different information is generally available, collected in thematic groups: more general cadastral and personal data, data relating to planning (Government of the territory), environmental problems, characteristics of the area to be regenerated or the unused building. Attached the technical sheet;provides further informationAs regards the territory of Milan, is ongoing the integration of the similar service carried out by the Municipality of Milan, relating to unused and deteriorated buildings that pose a danger to safety or health and public safety or discomfort due to urban decor and quality; their identification is closely linked to the contents of Article 11 of the Implementing Rules of the Milan PGT Plan.
