Prim – Total hydrogeological risk 20x20
Description
The hydrogeological risk is characterised by a multiplicity of different sources of danger that can interact on the same territory: landslides, river floods, torrential phenomena, lake floods, avalanches.The analysis of hazard sources and potential targets (buildings, infrastructure and land use) is the risk indicator. The risk index thus obtained defines the level of criticality of the territory compared to the regional average, which, by definition, is equal to 1. In Lombardy it varies from 0 to & 10 The source is the Regional Risk Mitigation Programme of the Lombardy Region (D.G.R. n.7243/2008) that analyses the risks, individual and integrated, in the regional territory in order to identify the most critical areas on which to deepen the assessments carried out.For each type of risk the total risk, represented on specific maps, has been evaluated, which have been combined to generate a map of integrated risk and dominant risk at different scales. The maps are reworked whenever new and significant data updates are available on which the models used are based.For each type of risk considered the PRIM provides for the elaboration of maps on a scale of 20x20 m, 1x1 Km and based on municipal.
