Dataset unloading service: Biodiversity — Biogeography and Bioclimate
Description
The regional territory has been distinguished in the biogeographical regions provided for by European Directive 43/92, using both the scientific standards and the characteristics of Natura 2000 sites. Bioclimates and indications for thermotypes and ombrotypes according to the Synoptical Worldwide Bioclimatic Classification System by Rivas Martinez (2004) are also reported. The levels are provided by the Hanbury Botanical Pole of DIPTERIS — Univ. Genova — Coverage: Entire Regional Territory — Origin: Digitisation on CR from existing thematic map extracts
