Sesmogenetic areas of Liguria — D.G.R.534 of 18.06.2021
Description
The map represents the study carried out by DISTAV, with a view to the application of the National Guidelines for the management of the territory affected by the presence of Faglie Active/Capaci (FAC). A FAC is a fault that has been activated at least once in the last 40,000 years and which is able to reach, in case of activation, the topographic surface, producing a fracture/dislocation of the soil. As a result of the studies carried out, it appears that there are no faults comparable to the type of FAC in Liguria.
Instead, the seismogenetic structures of interest for seismic microzonation studies in Liguria are reported.
