Description
Drawing up on the basis of field surveys, orthophotographic checks and comparisons with other regional maps — the current edition includes both terrestrial habitats and marine habitats harmonised with the same data structure.
The new edition presents the geometries of terrestrial and marine habitats harmonised to the same data structure. As regards terrestrial habitats, the map was produced as part of the drafting of the Ligurian SAC Management Plans, Regional Project "Natura 2000 Network", (PSR 2007-2013, Measure 3.2.3 — "Protection and redevelopment of rural heritage"), while for marine habitats the "New Atlas of Marini Habitats sc. 1:10000-2020"- The coverage for the terrestrial part coincides with the "Special Land Conservation Zones (Z.S.C.)", while the marine part is complete on the whole Ligurian coast — Year 2020 — EPSG projection system: 32632
