Dataset Display Service: Algal community according to Carlit Method for the ecological status of marine water bodies
Description
As foreseen by the Carlit method, the natural rocky coast has been divided into sectors of about 50 linear meters: in each sector, the dominant algal community is detected through an expedient visual examination. There are species of algae indicating a higher or lower environmental quality, i.e. sensitive to water quality and anthropogenic transformations.
