Description
The typological classification of vegetation is based on the characteristics of individual species contextualised within their ecosystem.
Forestry typologies are an operational means of framing, which allows the management of the forest to be based on ecological and not only physiognomic assumptions: it is therefore a functional and innovative approach capable of giving guidance on the appropriate management of forests, taking into account the different environmental situations and the services required.
The photo-interpretation activity has been calibrated and verified by means of surveys on the ground, in order to obtain a more precise classification of plant types.
The level of information of the Control Points on the ground allows you to view photographs oriented, taken during the surveys and to view punctual notes taken during the inspections.
