Radioactivity drinking water

Description

The dataset consists of the database relating to the regional control programme of the Lazio Region for the protection of the health of the population with regard to radioactive substances present in water intended for human consumption (Legislative Decree 28/2016 – Decree of the Ministry of Health of 2 August 2017). The monitoring plan provides for sampling and analysis of total alpha and beta activity and radon in five supply areas representing approximately 50% of the regional population. Sampling is carried out by the local health authorities responsible for the area, which provide the samples to ARPA LAZIO for analysis at the Viterbo laboratory.
