Derogated social shock absorbers - CIGS - Workers Questions

Description

The Extraordinary Earnings Integration Fund (CIGS) is a subsidy to supplement or replace the remuneration of workers in companies facing crisis situations, restructuring, reorganization, productive conversion, privatization, bankruptcy, etc. The subsidy is paid by the INPS, and it is necessary for the worker to have an employment contract, to have completed at least 90 days’ seniority in a company covered by CIGS legislation and to have more than 15 employees in the six-month period preceding the submission of the application.
