Description

PTCA is a minimally invasive method that allows you to dilate the arteries that spread blood to the cardiac structures (coronary arteries) in the event that they are totally or partially occluded by atherosclerotic plaques. It aims to restore adequate blood flow in a given region of the heart muscle, avoiding the appearance of clinical events that characterize myocardial ischemia (angina, myocardial infarction).
