Seismic Microzonation Liv. 2/3 - Stable zones
Description
The subject of seismic microzonation (MS) studies is the identification and characterization of stable zones, stable zones susceptible to local amplification and areas subject to instability, such as landslides, surface breaks due to faults and dynamic liquefaction of the soil. This study is spread over 3 levels: - level 1: makes it possible to divide the territory into qualitatively homogeneous micro-zones and represents a preparatory level for subsequent in-depth studies;- level 2: elaborates quantitative values associated with homogeneous zones and is used for the definition of the MS map;- level 3: is an in-depth study of specific themes or particular areas.
