Description
The environmental reference indicators for the assessment of chemical status, as provided for by Legislative Decree 152/2006 and subsequent amendments and additions, are: The chemical index based on the presence of hazardous and persistent pollutants in the water matrix; The chemical index based on the presence of hazardous and persistent pollutants in the fish matrix. Water bodies that meet all the environmental quality standards established for each of the substances in the priority list are classified in the chemical status "Good". If the environmental quality standards are exceeded, even for a single year of the three-year period, or even for a single substance sought, the lake water body is classified as "Not Good" for chemical status.
