Forest map on typological basis of the Lazio Region

Description

The Forest Charter on a typological basis is derived from the Charter of natural and semi-natural formations of the Lazio Region by deepening the 4th and 5th level Corine Land Cover of the Land Use Charter of the Lazio Region scale. The classification criterion on a typological basis proposed for the Lazio Region follows, in line with similar studies carried out on the national territory, a hierarchical criterion, in which the types represent the fundamental units. The types are characterized by homogeneity from an ecological, floristic and cultural point of view and, therefore, can be configured as elementary units of management.
