Ecological Status Lakes 2015-2020 [ARPA Lazio]
Description
The environmental reference indicators for the assessment of ecological status provided for by Ministerial Decree 260/2010 are: Biological indicators (phytoplankton, macrophytes, macroinvertebrates and fish) whose monitoring is planned differently for each station; Physico-chemical elements to support: LTLeco (Trophic Level Lakes for ecological status); Supporting chemical elements (other non-priority list substances). These indices are classified according to five quality classes: "High", "Good", "Sufficient", "Poor" and "Bad" except for the supporting chemical elements whose status is expressed by "High", "Good" and "Sufficient". The ecological status of the lake water body is classified according to the lowest class of the above indicators according to the schemes provided for by Ministerial Decree 260/2010.
