Hydroecoregions

Description

Hydroecoregions are zones with limited variation in chemical, physical and biological characteristics (Wasson, 2002). The concept of hydroecoregion therefore takes into account both the hydrological characteristics of the territory and the ecology of the ecosystem found in the territory itself.
