Species Sparse in Types — 1998
Description
The forests, which cover the regional territory for more than 255 thousand hectares (more than one third of the total) are made up of various types of forest.The database of Species scattered in types (which originates from that of the Forest Types of Friuli Venezia Giulia of which it constitutes a specific study) was carried out by the forestry technicians Dr. For. Giuseppe Vanone (mountain area) and Dr. For. Gianfranco Dreossi (hill, submontana and Karst) between 1997 and 1999 as part of the regional project funded by the European Union for the creation of an Observatory and a regional Wood Exchange.
