Chemical and physical properties maps - Weaving of regional soils - layer 0-30 cm

Description

The weaving map represents the area distribution of the particle size fractions classified according to the USDA methodology (International Standard, ref. U.S. Department of Agriculture). Each cell is assigned a % value of sand, silt, clay, skeleton and USDA textile class. Each parameter shall be accompanied by a reliability assessment of the estimated value. The representation of the territory takes place through a raster with pixels with a side of 100 m. The attribution of the pixel values is the result of a geostatistical analysis in the plains and of Digital Soil Mapping in the Apennines and refers to the first 30 cm of soil.
