Coastal defence works - 2005
Description
The 'Catalogue of defense works' contains information on the coastal protections present both at sea and in the hinterland of the Emilia-Romagna coast. These works have been erected over time by different bodies, in order to defend the beaches from the phenomenon of erosion and the hinterland from flooding in the event of exceptional high tide events. As part of the 'catalogue project', the works present in 4 periods have been mapped: 1943/45 - 1982 - 2000 - 2005
