Isobate Adriatico RER – Reliefs RER 2006
Description
Bathymetric curves in digital (vector) format realised through different procedures in relation to the original data type: 1) for digitisation from available batymetric maps in paper format; 2) for manual interpolation of quoted points reported on paper; 3) for automatic interpolation of digital quoted points. The reference data are those of the seabed in front of the coasts of the Emilia-Romagna Region. The data were provided by ARPA-Environmental Engineering, which followed the monitoring activities on behalf of the Regine Emilia-Romagna. The surveys were conducted by Geosystem S.r.l. of Parma, which took over the entire regional coast, up to a depth of about 8-9 m, on the basis of a work programme that included: 251 transepts perpendicular to the shoreline equidistant about 500 meters and a series of transversal relief lines, for a total of 200 km, both in the portion of the internal sea and in the outer part of the detached longitudinal defence works.
