Description
The Map of the percentage content of organic carbon in lowland soils with reference to the first 30 cm of soil, provides an estimate of the average percentage content of CO in a given territorial area due to the different types of soil present in it. The representation of the territory takes place through a knitted structure consisting of cells with a side of 500 m. Although the map is represented by classes, the information accessed, by querying the single cell, is related to the specific content of CO (expressed as % by weight). The value refers to the layer 0-30 cm and was attributed to the cell through geostatistical analysis applied to the map of the soils of the Emilia-Romagna plain on a scale of 1:50,000.
