Description

The map describes in qualitative terms the organic matter content of the soils of the Emilia-Romagna plain, assessing the percentage of organic matter contained in them according to their texture class. The evaluation scheme is defined by the Integrated Production Regulations of the Emilia-Romagna Region (D.P.I. RER 2010). The representation of the territory takes place through a mesh structure consisting of cells with a side of 500 m. The attribution of value to the cell is the result of a geostatistical analysis applied to the Plain Soil Map (scale 1:50,000) and refers to the first 30 cm of soil.
