Map of vegetation — Regional Park of Gessi Bolognesi and Calanchi dell’Abbadessa — Edition 2013
Description
Vector database obtained by updating the previous vegetation map to 2011 (1999 edition). The update was made on video based on AGEA 2011 orthophotos. Thanks to the method used and to the great detail of orthophotos (pixel 50 cm) it was possible to redesign with precision the limits of the polygons referring to the various types of vegetation and to update the areas where there had been changes in the type of vegetation present due to evolution of the same over time or to human interventions. Some inspections were also carried out for the verification and integration of photo-interpretation on video.
