Description
Digital Bathymetric Model or DBM (from the English Digital Bathymetric Model) in grid format. The product represents bathymetry through a regular cell model to which is associated the information of the depth of the Adriatic Sea in front of the regional coasts. Not having a homogeneous quoted plan, the DBM2000 has been elaborated using the bathymetric punctual data, acquired by ARPA in 1998, along the transepts of relief perpendicular to the coast and bathymetric data of the off-shore area made available by CNR-ISMAR Bologna and acquired in previous years. The processing of the DBM was therefore partly automatic and partly manual.
