Confirmation of the MUDE Declaration of Commitment (Post-earthquake Reconstruction 2012)

The Commissioner's Order no. 131 of 18/10/2013 provides that every citizen who on 31 December 2013

had not yet applied for the reconstruction contribution following the earthquake for

his property, declare through a professional enrolled in an appropriate order or college his

intention to apply for a contribution through a "declaration of commitment".

This declaration of commitment (also called "reservation") requires toponymy identification

of the damaged property, the indication of at least one of the owners, the professional who submitted

the instance and the number of dwellings contained by the property.

One year after the "reservations", the Commissioner asked to "confirm" this statement

of intent with indication of the level reached by the intervention design by the professional

appointed as required by Commissioner's Order No 14 of 14 April 2015.

The data collected here are those relating to the "Booking Confirmations" accepted by the Municipalities

(i.e. rejected ones have been explicitly excluded) and confirming the intention to proceed

with the reconstruction although it has not yet proceeded to make a call for contributions

(i.e. those who waive the right to call for contributions or who request to use

other regulatory tools available to citizens affected by the earthquake).

The data presented contain the details of the expected interventions and the degree of completion of the design,

encoded in Comma Separated Value (CSV) format, separated by the character "◦" as the characters ',' and ';'

are sometimes present in the address field.

All data on reconstruction are produced by a large multitude of people (60 municipalities with their about 400 technical instructors, 23 credit institutions and hundreds of branches involved and their officials, 1,600 professionals working in the construction sector, almost 3,000 contractors) and are tracked through experimental automatic systems and for this reason may contain errors or omissions not due to the will of this administration.
