Geosites — Polygonal Geometry
Description
A list of sites of local interest that are not always classifiable as geosites in the study’s acceptance are provided.Phases of lavorazione:Fase 1 — Preparation of operational and adaptation specifications.Phase 2 — Bibliographic analysis and collection of information, with an indication of the source, type of geosite and location. For some, given the difficulty of reaching the site, the photographic documentation is low resolution as it is retrieved from internet sources.Phase 3 — Data integration in deficient areas through photo interpretation performed using the stereoscopic pairs of available aerial levates, cartographic representation of geosites on a scale of 1:10,000, comparison with possible bibliographical data.Phase 4 — Survey of geosite campaign, geological-geomorphological survey dispatched and compilation of the Inventory of Geosites of the Calabria Region — Department “Environment and Territory”
