Description
Geographically defined area, the area of which is clearly delimited, which contributes with its physical — biological elements and significantly to maintain or restore a natural habitat type or species of regional interest. For the species that occupy large territories, the Sites of Regional Importance correspond to the places, within their natural area of distribution, which present the physical and biological elements essential to their life and reproduction
