Description
The Controlled Designation of Origin (DOC) is a mark of origin which certifies the area of origin and delimited the harvest of the grapes used for the production of the wine on which the mark is affixed; it is used to designate a quality and renowned product whose characteristics are linked to the natural environment and to human factors. The category of DOC wines includes wines produced in certain geographical areas in accordance with a specific production discipline.
