Description
On the basis of the information layer of the river basins at national level 1:250,000, which is consistent with the hydrographic grid, the main and secondary water catchment areas of water courses at sea with an area greater than or equal to 200 kmq were identified, in accordance with Legislative Decree No 152/99 and subsequently by the Water Framework Directive 2000/60/EC, the main and secondary water catchment areas of the watercourses at sea with an area greater than or equal to 200 kmq.Source of the Ministry of the Environment The dataset was extracted from the general dataset in Italy, and the attribute values have been standardised to be included in the structure of the Sites Database.
