Description
The cartography, officially produced for the purposes of Executive Decision No DH 43/26 of 16 September 2014 (BURA Ordinary No 38 of 24 September 2014), complies with the provisions of the Ministerial Decree of 7 February 2011 'Emergency measures for the control of the Red Punteruolo of the palm Rhynchophorus ferrugineus (Olivier). Transposition of Commission Decision 2007/365/EC and its amendments’. It stems from the need to define and update annually the so-called demarcated areas, consisting of all ‘infested areas’, ‘containment areas’ and ‘buffer zones’.
