Forestry Typological Map of the Abruzzo Region_WGS84
Description
The Forest Typological Charter of the Abruzzo Region, is part of a broader knowledge of the real use of land, not only aims to create a geographical information system, but to create one of the elements of the Regional Geographical Data Infrastructure provided for by the INSPIRE Community Directive. A first approximation of forest typologies in 2001, which led to the classification of forests and shrubs in separate units, led to the publication of the map at the end of 2009 on the basis of detailed information at local level on the status and characteristics of the forest heritage.
